The role of "Reducing Restrictive Practice Trainer" at Hywel Dda University Health Board in Carmarthen involves working within a dedicated team to reduce unnecessary restrictive practices in patient care. Trainers will provide evidence-based clinical skills training to staff across various disciplines, focusing on the prevention and management of violence, aggression, and challenging behaviors. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering training programs, assessing participant competencies, and conducting risk assessments to ensure safety for patients and staff. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the Lead Trainer to plan and implement training according to the Health Board's needs, along with the ability to travel between sites.
