We have an exciting opportunity for a Part Time Administrator to join the team at HMP Kirkham, a Category D open prison for males, located near Preston, Lancashire.
HMP Kirkham is a unique environment, with stunning grounds and lots to offer both staff and patients, including our brand new, state of the art gym - free for staff, and it's also the biggest gym in a prison in the country! We have lots of wellbeing activities, and you will be made to feel welcome straight away!Salary
This position is part time, working 15 hours per week and youll receive an annual salary of £24,924 - £26,145 per annum (FTE) - depending on experience.
Hours For this part time role, you will be working 15 hours per week, on a Thursday and Friday. Shifts are on a rota basis between 8am and 6pm.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
- Assisting in the patient drop in service, answering queries and taking paperwork from patients
- Provide a high quality admin service to the healthcare team
- Coordinate clinics and chase referrals (internal and external)
- Arrange and chase hospital appointments, prisoner release and transfers, and arrange appointments for follow on care
