The role of First Contact Physiotherapist at Primary Care Physio in Sandown involves providing high-quality, tech-enabled physiotherapy services to NHS Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and GP practices. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will assess, diagnose, and manage a complex caseload of patients, utilizing your skills in independent prescribing and investigation where appropriately trained. The position calls for a confident MSK practitioner with at least five years of post-graduate experience, including three years of relevant MSK clinical experience. Furthermore, the candidate should be innovative, adaptable to a fast-paced primary care environment, and eager to engage in professional development and clinical supervision.

In addition to clinical practice, the role emphasises collaborative work within the PCN to strengthen care pathways and improve service efficiency. Responsibilities also include supporting patient self-management, engaging in research and audit to enhance service effectiveness, and contributing to clinical governance through training and evaluation. Given the nature of the position, significant peer support and opportunities for professional growth are available, alongside the flexibility for varied worksite arrangements across local GP practices.
