Ashwell Medical Centre has a vacancy for a salaried GP (6 sessions each week)
- The vacancy is a new post to help meet the needs of our rapidly increasing practice capitation.
- We have a newly extended and fully refurbished building providing the highest standard of clinical and staff facilities
- We have an excellent multidisciplinary clinical team of GPs, Advanced Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists and Social Prescribers
- We are proud of our friendly and supportive staff team
- We are a long established GP training practice and additionally provide pre and post graduate pharmacist and nurse training
- We are a high achiever for clinical outcomes (QoF, LES, DES, etc)

The salaried GP will be responsible for delivering the full range of primary care services as part of the practice ensuring the highest standards of care for the differing needs of our patient population. The salaried GP will work closely with the practices multi-disciplinary team of other GPs, pharmacists, advanced practitioners, nurses, and non-clinical staff to provide a high quality and accessible service to patients.
As a practice we want to build our reputation. As you are an integral part of us, it is expected that you will help support and input into the aims of the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, quality outcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review and any other improvement plans as determined by the partners.
Our practice is a training practice and so the position would be suitable for someone who is newly qualified and would like to work within a supportive environment.
Our practice is keen on new developments and different ways of working. It would suit someone who has specialist skills or who would like to develop them, or for someone who is interested in new ways of improving patient healthcare.
