The Graduate Nurse position is open to nursing students who will qualify before March 2025. The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust invites candidates to participate in recruitment events aimed at supporting new nurses in building their careers within a nationally recognized institution. The role includes benefiting from the Trust's Professional Development and Education Unit (PDEU), which provides an award-winning preceptorship program designed to aid the transition from student to registered nurse.
During recruitment events, candidates will have the opportunity to meet nursing teams, engage in a competitive interview process, and discuss their career ambitions. Applicants are encouraged to submit their personal and educational information early, as vacancies are limited.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, fostering effective working relationships, managing conflicts, participating in performance reviews and clinical supervision, and promoting a multi-professional approach to patient health. The role may also involve working independently in the absence of supervisory staff.
