The role of "Bank Reporting Radiographer" at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in Pontyclun involves independently interpreting and reporting on various Radiology examinations, including musculoskeletal, chest, abdominal, cross-sectional, Nuclear Medicine, and fluoroscopy imaging, which are critical for patient management. The position requires providing patient care in both general and specialized areas, supervising junior staff, and conducting routine radiographic examinations while ensuring patient safety. Depending on experience, the radiographer may also perform specialized examinations like CT and MRI and will occasionally work unsupervised in these areas. The role includes participating in an out-of-hours service and necessitates strong communication with other staff across the Health Board.
