The role of Senior Therapeutic Radiographer in the Pre-Treatment department at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is focused on delivering high-quality radiotherapy planning scans and implementing advanced radiotherapy techniques, including SimRT. The position requires proactive involvement in the development of Radiotherapy Services, daily organisation of radiotherapy workloads, and supervision of junior staff and students. Candidates must also be involved in patient pre-assessment, cannulation, and contrast administration, while ensuring compliance with HCPC standards.

This position is specifically open to individuals currently employed within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Care System Organisations. The successful applicant will work within a state-of-the-art facility that includes advanced imaging technology and contribute to the department's ongoing expansion in clinical trials and innovative treatment offerings. This role also includes participation in a shift and on-call system, along with continued professional development supported by enhanced practice funding.
