We are looking for a Senior Scrub Theatre Practitioner with Cardiac experience to join our Theatre department at The Portland Hospital. The Portland Hospital, rated as 'Good; by the CQC, is Londons leading private hospital dedicated to the care of women, children, and their families.
Renowned for its exceptional maternity services, the hospital also offers comprehensive paediatric care, womens health services, and cutting-edge surgical facilities. With a focus on providing personalized, high-quality healthcare, The Portland Hospital combines advanced medical technology with the expertise of world-class specialists. Caring for over 40,000 children a year, we provide treatment for everything from general paediatric conditions to complex craniofacial reconstruction. We have over 175 paediatric consultants available to treat children from new-born up to the age of 18.
- Have a pivotal role in the surgical team, combining clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of the theatres, ensuring that all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for each procedure.
- In addition to providing hands-on support during surgeries, you'll mentor and guide junior staff, promoting best practices and promoting a collaborative team environment.
- With a focus on patient safety and efficiency, your role is key to delivering successful surgical outcomes in a high-pressure setting.

As Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
- Have a pivotal role in the surgical team, combining clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
You will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of the theatres, ensuring that all equipment, instruments, and supplies are ready for each procedure.
In addition to providing hands-on support during surgeries, you'll mentor and guide junior staff, promoting best practices and promoting a collaborative team environment.
With a focus on patient safety and efficiency, your role is key to delivering successful surgical outcomes in a high-pressure setting.
