The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Registered General Nurse for the role of Community Staff Nurse specializing in Wound Care and Lymphedema in Bury. This position involves providing high-quality wound management and leg ulcer care to patients registered with a local GP, following an evidence-based approach that includes comprehensive assessments and tailored treatment strategies. The successful candidate will work within a supportive team of 14 professionals, including Tissue Viability Nurses and Community Nurse Team Leaders, and will play a crucial role in promoting self-management for patients while also mentoring junior staff.

The role requires excellent assessment, planning, and documentation skills, along with an ability to perform complex nursing procedures such as Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index assessments. Candidates should be proactive in identifying improvement opportunities and will be responsible for prescribing treatments from the Trust's Wound Care Formulary within budgetary constraints.
