The University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in Brighton is inviting applicants to join their "Foundation to Advance Clinical Pharmacist Programme," an 18-month competency-based program aimed at transitioning pharmacists from a post-registration foundation level (band 6) to an advanced clinical pharmacist level (band 7). This program is open to trainee pharmacists, sector pharmacists, and experienced band 6 or 7 pharmacists, with progression opportunities including a postgraduate diploma from University College London and encouragement to achieve a clinically enhanced pharmacist independent prescribing qualification.

Participants will provide expert patient care, supporting lead pharmacists in developing and coordinating clinical pharmacy services aligned with the NHS's objectives. The role involves contributing to clinical governance and involves educational responsibilities, including supervising undergraduate and pre-registration pharmacists. Candidates should be self-directed team players able to manage the responsibilities of this key NHS position.
