The Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist to work part-time (22.5 hours per week) within their mental health acute services at Langley Green Hospital in Crawley. The role involves jointly leading the Occupational Therapy staff team in the adult in-patient mental health unit, which includes overseeing clinical interventions, managing a small caseload, and providing guidance to a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while implementing evidence-based practices and fostering collaborations with community services.

Key responsibilities include managing complex cases, promoting the role of Occupational Therapy, and participating in the planning and evaluation of local services. The position offers opportunities for professional development through regular supervision and training, while also emphasizing the importance of staff wellbeing and compassionate leadership. The candidate will work closely with Band 7 managers, supporting an integrated approach to care that incorporates feedback from patients and stakeholders.
