An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 4 Associate Practitioner to join our intermediate care team in Hull.
The post holder will provide occupational therapy and physiotherapy interventions under the guidance of registered practitioners to a diverse client group and will be joining an established multi disciplinary team working across community bedded areas.
The role requires you to work with both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists as well as independently under the guidance of a Therapist. You will receive training and work towards competencies in both professions. Following this, you will continue to receive training and support to enable you to deliver high quality therapy interventions to the best of your ability.
You should be empathetic, have excellent communication and listening skills and the ability to support and motivate others to achieve their potential. It would be helpful for you to have had experience of working with people with physical problems within the community or hospital settings and essential that you are a car driver and have basic IT skills.
