Locum Consultant in Infectious Diseases (5PA) inCambridge inCambridge PUBLISHED 5 NOV 2024

Band Consultant: £105,504 to £139,882 a year per annum, pro-rata  FIXED TERM 

Applications are invited for the post of Locum Consultant in Infectious Diseases at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to commence as soon as possible for 12 months.

This is a 5PA locum post with Infectious Diseases. CUH is the regional Infectious Diseases centre for East Anglia, receiving many complicated infection case referrals from around the region. The service is a hub for HIV care. CUH is also the regional TB centre, which is run jointly with the respiratory team.

The post holder will be covering the ward inpatients, providing consults and undertake specialist Infectious Diseases and HIV clinics.

The post holder will be expected to be part of Infectious Diseases on-call rota.

You will be fully registered with the GMC and ideally have a CCT in Infectious Diseases or be within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview. Applications are welcomed from those unable to work full time for personal reasons or those wishing to job-share.
