The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is offering a 12-month position for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, CBT Therapist, or EMDR Therapist in their Perinatal Mental Health Service, starting April 2025. This role involves providing therapeutic interventions to women experiencing severe or complex mental health issues during pregnancy or in the postpartum period. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team across various locations in the county, including hybrid working arrangements, and will conduct psychological assessments and deliver therapy through individual, group, and dyadic approaches.

Key responsibilities include developing psychological formulations, implementing evidence-based interventions, and offering guidance to other professionals. The role emphasises autonomy in managing client care and contributing to the service's development through research, audits, and policy implementation. The position provides an opportunity to gain specialized skills in perinatal mental health while collaborating with health visitors, midwives, and other specialists to support mothers and their families effectively.
