We are have an exciting opportunity to develop a new role within the Gynae-Oncology team. You must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, with excellent communication and organisational skills as the role will involve close collaboration with Consultants/Specialist Nurses/Laboratory staff and Administrative staff involving liaising with other referring hospitals.
We are looking for a friendly, adaptable & well organised person to join our team. You should have good attention to detail to maintain accurate data through a keen eye for detail, be able to multi task & manage their time efficiently as well as being able to adapt to change.
Excellent attention to detail is crucial as the role involves working with patient records and review of histopathology results for accurate recording.
This is a varied and challenging role that will require the post-holder to provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Genomics Lead Consultant and Lead Nurse within the Gynae-Oncology team.
To assist with the running of the Genomics Pathway.
To proactively track patient pathways to ensure all next steps are in place.
To co-ordinate MDT Meetings.
To work as part of a team and also autonomously to ensure all deadlines are met.
