Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Paediatric Audiologist to join their expanding audiovestibular department in Liverpool. The role involves delivering comprehensive audiological and vestibular services for children from birth to nineteen, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, managing and rehabilitating hearing-impaired children, producing clinical reports, and providing support to ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists. The position also requires the audiologist to maintain high service standards, manage their own caseload, and engage in continuous professional development through training and collaboration on research.

The successful candidate will work across Alder Hey Hospital, community clinics, and schools in Liverpool, Sefton, and West Lancashire. They will carry out various audiological procedures, including tympanometry and hearing aid fitting, while utilizing their clinical knowledge to interpret test results and develop individualized management plans. The role also involves maintaining equipment, ensuring inventory levels, and supporting specific clinics such as those for pre-school children and the Cleft Palate team.
