The Practice Plus Group is seeking experienced Theatre Nurses or Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join their dedicated team at a modern, purpose-built hospital in Portsmouth. Candidates should be multi-skilled with post-qualification experience and a passion for improving patient care. The role involves advocating for patients during the intra-operative phase and ensuring comprehensive responsibility for patient care throughout the perioperative phase, all while upholding privacy and confidentiality.

As part of one of the UK's largest independent healthcare providers, you will work alongside a friendly, expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team, supported by a newly appointed Theatre Manager. The position offers a desirable work-life balance with no night shifts, Sundays, or bank holidays required. Additionally, this role will involve managing blood and blood product procedures, further contributing to the high standard of care that the hospital is known for, which serves over 50,000 patients each year.

As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard. It goes without saying privacy and confidentiality are key throughout the team and you will act as an advocate for the patient in the intra-operative phase and be responsible for total patient care in the perioperative phase. We are one of the UK largest independent sector healthcare providers and work in close partnership with the NHS to deliver more than 50 services throughout the UK. We provide high quality specialist care and excellent results for more than 50,000 patients each year.

Working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our newly appointed Theatre Manager, Rebecca. There is no night working, no Sunday's, no bank holidays and there is no on-call! You can have more time to do the things you love doing. This role will enable you to develop and execute the correct procedures for ordering, receiving and transfer of blood and blood products as well as blood conservation.
