The East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Midwife for the role of Labour Ward Coordinator (Band 7) to join their dynamic maternity team at Victoria Road. This position offers the opportunity to lead the labour ward and provide high-level clinical expertise and management in a supportive environment, following the unit's recent re-establishment post-COVID. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating staff and managing workloads across the ante/postnatal and labour wards while also leading the response to acute obstetric emergencies. Candidates should have demonstrable leadership experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure within a multidisciplinary team.

This fixed-term role requires 32 hours per week and emphasises professional and clinical leadership, focusing on delivering safe, high-quality care for mothers, babies, and families during the intrapartum period.
