Marie Curie is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Nurse to join their community team in Swansea, West Glamorgan, Wales. In this pivotal role, you will lead educational initiatives, contribute to innovative practices, and provide high-quality, patient-centered care within the Marie Curie Dementia Care and Respite Service. About us
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Nurse to join our community-based dementia service in Swansea, West Glamorgan. This role offers the opportunity to lead educational initiatives, contribute to innovative practice development, and deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.
The role also involves patient assessment, multidisciplinary team working and management of a small team of staff.
The Marie Curie Dementia Care and Respite Servicewill work as part of the existing multi-disciplinary teams across West Glamorgan/Swansea Bay University Health Board to support people living with dementia and their families and carers. The service will provide additional care and respite support for those across the West Glamorgan area living with dementia to enable them to remain at home and to support their carers to aid in the prevention of escalation and crises.
What we're looking for:

Registered Nurse on NMC Register with a relevant Nursing Degree.

Proven experience in palliative care (hospice/hospital/community).

Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Ability to manage workload and prioritize effectively.

Experience in both formal and informal teaching and leading nursing practice developments.

Commitment to continual professional development and reflective practice..
