In this trust-wide role, the architect will be accountable for strategic decisions regarding network and end-user communication systems, including future planning for WLAN and LAN infrastructures across main and community sites. They will take an active part in the replacement and upgrade of communication technologies and lead technical workgroups aimed at enhancing network and telephony services throughout the organisation.
Reporting to the Operational Infrastructure Manager, you will be joining a multi skilled department, to work with the main Server, Network, EU Device and Telephony architects and implementation teams, with a focus on the design and implementation of the network infrastructure and devices.
To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
Line management of architects and engineers who share the responsibility of the end user telephony direction and technologies.
Trust wide responsibility for the network structure, this includes designing, implementation and documentation for any changes across the trust network structure.
To help me decision on which network products the trust will use and how they are implemented across the trust.
To give trust wide oversight of all changes being made, accountability for those changes and the remediation work if required.
Trust wide responsibility focused on the cisco software suite, how this affects clinical and non-clinical systems and devices across the trusts technical estate.
Responsible for the trust wide design, implementation and documenting varies different cisco technologies, with a focus on Cisco ISE.
Responsible for developing the future position, direction and integration of the Trusts digitalend user communicationsrequirements.
