The Salford Renal Unit is seeking a motivated Band 6 Nurse Practitioner with a passion for Renal Services to join their team at Salford Royal Hospital. This tertiary center serves the West of Greater Manchester and offers a range of renal services, including inpatient care, outpatient support, and in-centre haemodialysis, alongside several satellite dialysis units in the area. Ideal candidates should have experience in managing complex patients, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and be capable of mentoring junior staff. While Band 6 experience is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, but applicants must be competent in haemodialysis.

In this role, the Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with fellow Band 6 nurses to assist the Unit Manager in delivering high-quality patient care. Opportunities for professional development will include training in chemotherapy, post-operative care, and nurse-led discharge, as well as completing competencies in venepuncture, cannulation, and blood cultures.
