The Hands, Burns, and Reconstructive Surgery team are delighted to offer the opportunity to join the team working in this dynamic specialty. As a regional Burns Centre, the highest level of patients are served by us, and therefore is a significant asset to those with a special interest in the field. The caseload also covers both adult and paediatric patients, offering the scope to further develop skills in treating this variety of patients.
The role of a band 6 within the team will advance your knowledge and skills across the breadth of the specialty as part of a rotation, as well as offer the opportunity to share your expertise with band 5 and students, and through in-service training with peers. There is a strong quality improvement focus at Newcastle Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and all staff are encouraged and supported to deliver on service developments.
Fixed term: until May 2026
Part Time hours will also be considered.
As a flexible working friendly organisation, we want to be sure that you can work in a way that is best for us and for our patients, and for you. Speak to us about how we might be able to accommodate a flexible working arrangement. If it works for the service, we will do our best to make it work for you.
