Band 2  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY   NO SPONSORSHIP 

We are Recruiting 2 x Band 2 Health Care Support Workers for Ilkley Ward, Lynfield Mount Hospital

Under the supervision of registered health care professionals, you will work in a low secure unit, assisting the healthcare team with the provision of clinical care for service users with complex mental health issues, who also have an offending background.

  • You will be a committed, motivated and enthusiastic person
  • You will have experience of working in a care setting
  • You will have knowledge of mental health difficulties
  • Awareness of rehabilitation and recovery
  • You will be able to work across a 24/7 shift pattern

This position is not eligible for sponsorship set by the Home Office and the skilled worker visa occupation list .

If you are currently a visa holder and your visa status expires, we may be required to terminate your employment in compliance with immigration regulations.

To assist and support registered nurses in the assessment, delivery and evaluation of care to patients suffering from mental illness, who may present with offending behaviours.

To act as a key worker for individual clients as required, maintain and audit all documentation relating to this role.

To assist in the supervision and instruction of all junior staff and students on placement/induction within the clinical area, under the guidance and advice of the qualified nurse.
