The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and organized Health Care Assistant to join the team at the Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre, part of the Salford Royal Outpatient Hub. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care, including greeting and directing patients, performing ECGs and venepuncture, assisting with patient movement for examinations, recognizing clinical signs of deterioration, and managing appointment bookings through the Electronic Patient Record system. The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience, demonstrate a commitment to professional development, and be capable of working collaboratively within a medical team.

Candidates must be willing to work over a five-day period and the Trust encourages applications from individuals of all backgrounds, particularly those from underrepresented minority groups. We are looking for highly motivated and organised Health Care Assistant with a passion for high quality patient care and experience to work at the Salford Royal Outpatient Hub located at the Altrincham Health and Wellbeing Centre.Salford Royal provides neurology services to the patients of Greater Manchester. We will be running outpatient services from the spacious and modern facility located in Altrincham.

You will be a motivated team player with a flexible attitude and be able to demonstrate commitment to your own professional development. Ideally you will have experience in a similar role.

Your role will include :

*The ability to organise your own workload

*Greet and sign post patients

* Ability to perform ECG and perform venepuncture

*Ability to support patients and clinicians with the movement of patients for examination

*Ability to recognise clinical signs of an unwell patient and request a medical review

*Ability to book patient appointments via Patient Centre

*Ability to evaluate and document each patient visit via their Electronic Patient Record (EPR).

*Ability to work closely with the medical team regarding planning and evaluating patients
