The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust in London is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Sister / Charge Nurse for its Emergency Department (ED), which is known for providing high-quality, compassionate care to the diverse community of North London. The successful candidate will play a crucial leadership role, managing nursing staff on each shift, ensuring patient safety and care quality, and overseeing patient flow. This opportunity includes the freedom to manage the department while benefiting from strong nursing leadership and support from senior staff. The role requires significant post-registration experience in Emergency Care, a relevant degree, and qualifications in mentorship and A&E.

In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Senior Sister / Charge Nurse will participate in the education and training of junior staff, implement service improvements, and contribute to departmental management. The position offers development programs tailored to the individual's needs, with opportunities for teaching, research involvement, and leadership courses.
