The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a compassionate and motivated Staff Nurse to join their team in the Older Male Care unit in Reading. This role involves providing high standards of evidence-based nursing care to older male patients, conducting comprehensive assessments, and planning and evaluating care without direct supervision. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering innovative care, particularly within the newly redesigned, dementia-friendly wards and the pilot program for the Enhanced Recovery Pathway. Additionally, the Staff Nurse will be responsible for supervising junior staff and students, ensuring accountability in the care provided.
