The Workforce & OD Manager role within NHS England's WT&E Workforce Training and Education directorate in Bristol is focused on enhancing the healthcare workforce's capabilities to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. The position involves supporting system-wide development, improving workforce supply and assurance, and providing HR and OD guidance. The manager will work collaboratively within a dynamic team, ensuring effective service delivery to internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include defining and documenting business processes, supporting ad hoc projects, managing the team's business plan, and facilitating communication with relevant organisations and functions.

In this role, the Manager will also assist the Head of Department in planning and managing program work streams, ensuring successful project delivery, and enabling organisational development initiatives as part of the South West ways of working program. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying risks and issues while reporting them appropriately, contributing to a well-managed HR and OD framework within the healthcare sector.
