The Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced mental health nurse or practitioner for the role of Clinical Lead in the Prison Mental Health Team at HMP Full Sutton, a high-security men's prison in East Riding of Yorkshire. This position involves practicing a comprehensive range of psychiatric skills, conducting ongoing needs assessments—including risk evaluation—providing interventions, and coordinating discharge planning with a person-centered approach. Ideal candidates will be skilled in compassionate mental health care, have an understanding of the criminal justice system, and possess strong coordination and decision-making abilities. The role requires flexibility and the capacity to engage with patients with complex needs within a multidisciplinary team environment.
