The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a band 7 Clinical Physiologist or Clinical Scientist in Neurophysiology for a 12-month maternity cover. This position presents an excellent opportunity for band 6 physiologists eager to advance their career and develop leadership skills in the field. The successful candidate will lead independent outpatient clinics specializing in EEG and nerve conduction studies (NCS), as well as conduct peripheral neuropathy screenings in collaboration with a Consultant Neurophysiologist.

The role encompasses responsibilities across two sites following the opening of the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, with the physiologist conducting inpatient investigations in the department and on hospital wards. Additionally, the physiologist will be involved in performing neurophysiology diagnostics, supervising trainee physiologists, and potentially leading specific service areas such as Sleep or EEG, depending on their strengths.
