Job description
Are you a skilled communicator with an interest in developing our digital offer? Can you work collaboratively to ensure its evidence-based and responsive to the needs of service users across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland?
We are looking for a vibrant, enthusiastic and creative Digital Practitioner that can work with the specialist autism team alongside another digital practitioner and the FYPC-LDA digital team.
You will be a registered practitioner with relevant knowledge and experience of working with either young people and/or adults with an autism diagnosis.
The specialist autism team is a new team supporting young people and adults with an autism only diagnosis.
As part of the development of the team we have introduced a digital offer to suit the way our diverse service users are increasingly wanting to access trusted health information and advice, this is an exciting opportunity that will help take us to the next level.
You will have an awareness of the Healthy Together Health for websites and Chat Health service. Your day to day responsibilities will revolve around developing and ensuring that digital resources are aligned with and support the required service improvements and the overall strategic direction of the specialist autism team.

- To work closely with the Learning Disability and Autism teams and Digital Clinical Lead to ensure that the digital offer is evidence-based, responsive to the needs of service users across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
- This role will be crucial in developing the service offer, ensuring that digital resources are aligned with and support the required service improvements and the overall strategic direction.
- To ensure that the digital offer remains reflective of best clinical and digital practice on a national basis and responsive to local need developing the new website to be created for the system.
- To work collaboratively with other senior nurses across LPT as appropriate and promote the role of their speciality nursing to all stakeholders.
- To undertake clinical practice on a regular basis to ensure expert skills as a clinical practitioner are maintained in line with NMC revalidation requirements.
