The Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking compassionate individuals for the role of Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) - New to Care in Portsmouth. This entry-level position does not require prior care experience and emphasises finding candidates with the right values and attitudes. Successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive induction program leading to the Care Certificate, helping them acclimatize to the organisation. Responsibilities include assisting with patient hygiene, comfort, and mobility, serving meals, and maintaining a clean environment while ensuring the dignity and privacy of patients at all times.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Maths and English at Level 1 and will be expected to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
