The County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Band 6 Community Midwife to join their community midwifery team in Chester Le Street and Durham. This role focuses on providing holistic, personalized maternity care, supporting women and families through antenatal and postnatal periods. Ideal candidates should be passionate about community care and able to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, promoting informed choice and exemplary care aligned with national standards and trust values.

The position offers opportunities for professional development, flexibility in work hours, and the chance to engage with diverse communities, including those in vulnerable situations. A comprehensive induction and ongoing support from a dedicated practice development team will be provided. The role also includes participation in health promotion initiatives, such as the UNICEF Infant Feeding framework and National Screening programs.
