The role of "Assistant OVS Practitioner - Ophthalmic Services" at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting involves supporting the delivery of intravitreal injections under the supervision of Nurse Injectors and Doctors. The post holder will participate in in-house training on aseptic techniques and assist with the technical and clinical services in various settings, including day surgery and pre-assessment clinics. Responsibilities include providing individualized patient care, aiding in the education of junior technicians, maintaining equipment, and ensuring high-quality clinical services while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
