The Housekeeper position at The Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust in Wakefield plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients, contributing to their overall care during recovery. This part-time role involves delivering meals and drinks to patients, maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, and providing assistance based on patients' dietary requirements. Responsibilities include preparing meal environments, checking food safety standards, monitoring meal wastage, and keeping kitchen and patient areas clean. Additionally, Housekeepers are expected to assist with clinical staff during meal services and manage pantry upkeep. Previous experience in healthcare or public service is desirable, but comprehensive training will be provided. The role includes structured working hours, with two part-time positions available from Monday to Sunday, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
