The Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is seeking a Principal Cardiac Physiologist to lead and deliver a specialized clinical service within the Medicine and urgent care department. This role involves performing various cardiac investigations and therapeutic techniques, providing expert advice on service provision, and implementing evidence-based practice improvements. Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the strategic direction and financial management of cardiac diagnostic services, overseeing a budget exceeding £2 million, participating in equipment procurement, and ensuring the safety and effectiveness of new techniques and equipment.

As a leader in this position, you will be responsible for service delivery across multiple locations, specifically PHUT and CDC, and will actively engage in evaluating and enhancing clinical practices to align with the trust's strategic objectives.
