Are you a nurse or paramedic interested in working in an Urgent Treatment Centre?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic nurse practitioner or paramedic practitioner to work within the Urgent Treatment Centre at Whitworth Hospital.
The units are nurse and paramedic practitioner led and are operational seven days a week, from 08.00 to 20:00hrs.
As a registered, accountable clinical employee you will be expected to possess a relevant high level of clinical knowledge and skills. This will enable you to assess, examine and treat patients safely and appropriately from the whole age spectrum that attend the UTCs with a variety of minor injury and minor illness presentations.
You will need to effectively engage with patients, peer groups, and service users in all elements of your role, leading by example and promoting a supportive and caring culture. This will require an inclusive, transparent, open approach to your role, whereby you are happy to be accountable to others and to go the extra mile when required.
You must be flexible, enthusiastic, motivated and demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
