As a thriving Acute Medicine team, we are looking for a 29 hours per week, Senior OT to join our service at Hinchingbrooke Hospital to cover maternity leave for 12 months from 10th February 2025. With a variety of specialties including Medicine for Older People, Oncology, Renal, Gastroenterology, every day is different.

To enable OT to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient service in the Specialist field
To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focussed care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards
To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams
To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team
To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation
To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole in patient team
To undertake weekend working as required within service developments
To be available to provide Clinical Supervision
This role entails 90% Clinical Contact and 10% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements
To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans
To support delivery of 7-day working
