The East of England Ambulance Service is seeking passionate and dedicated Ambulance Care Assistants (Relief) to transport non-urgent patients, particularly those who are frail or require specialist assistance, to various healthcare appointments across Bedfordshire, with a base in Dunstable. Candidates should possess strong customer care and communication skills, have a flexible and discreet approach, and ideally, local knowledge of the area. The role requires a full UK manual car driving license with at least one year of driving experience, and involves both solo and team-based transportation duties, including possible night shifts.

Successful applicants will undergo a three-week paid training course, covering clinical training and patient transport practices, with a full uniform provided. It is essential to commit to the training schedule, as well as fulfill pre-employment checks for successful onboarding.
