The North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist for their Children and Young People (CYP) Eating Disorder service, known as HIVE, based in Barking. This role involves joining a dedicated team that provides intensive community treatment for young patients with eating disorders, aimed at preventing hospital admissions and ensuring safe, early discharges when necessary. The HIVE service adopts a blended model of face-to-face and virtual appointments, offering personalized support tailored to the needs of young people and their families.

As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse Specialist will facilitate continuity of care by coordinating with local inpatient teams, supporting the transition between community and hospital settings, and implementing specific care plans for complex cases. Responsibilities also include providing comprehensive patient handovers, participating in ward discussions, and attending relevant meetings to ensure integrated care for young patients undergoing treatment for eating disorders.
