Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioner - Devon Out Of Hours Are you looking to improve the way you deliver urgent care to your patients whilst looking to improve your career prospects? When you join the multidisciplinary team in our Out Of Hours (OOH) and Clinical Assessment service (CAS) in Devon you can.
Practice Plus Group are now delivering OOH, CAS and 111 services in the Devon region, Specially we are looking for people based in Newton Abbot, Torbay and Totnes.
As the largest independent provider of NHS services, Practice Plus Group is delivering a new model of Integrated Urgent Care that reduces pressures on services and staff. By bringing together NHS 111, CAS and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and committed Advanced Clinical / Nurse Practitioner (ANP) / (ACP) who can independently prescribe. Its a chance to simplify and speed up the way patients receive care by assessing them, planning their care, administering treatment and discharging or referring them to other healthcare professionals via primary care centres and home visits. You will also be using our electronic prescribing system. Based in our various Out Of Hours (OOH) services, youll be working autonomously within your sphere of competency as part of a friendly and close-knit multi-skilled team that includes GPs, registered nurses, UCPs, mental health and dental nurses.We can offer this role as either bank or self-employed and the pay rates relevant to each contract are below: Bank Monday - Friday - 08:00-23:59 - £34.80 Monday - Friday - 00:00-07:59 - £39.40 Weekend - 08:00-23:59 - £39.40 Weekend - 00:00-07:59 - £44.67 Semp Monday - Friday - 08:00-23:59 - £40.81 Monday - Friday - 00:00-07:59 - £46.20 Weekend - 08:00-23:59 - £46.20 Weekend - 00:00-07:59 - £52.36 What you will need: Recent experience as an autonomous advanced clinical practitioner in a primary/urgent care environment, with a proven ability to see, treat and discharge patients of all ages with unscheduled presentations. A patient assessment qualification, independent prescribing qualification and either NMC/HCPC PIN. Excellent listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
