The Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking applicants for the role of Community Urgent Care GP (CUC GP) in Witney, Abingdon, and Henley. This new and innovative position will involve delivering acute and urgent care services to patients in Oxfordshire, primarily during 7-day operational hours from 8 am to 8 pm. Responsibilities will include assessing and treating acutely unwell patients at same-day emergency care units, providing remote medical cover through a clinical coordination center, and potentially working within the GP Out of Hours Service. The role emphasises collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and offers opportunities for personal development and educational activities.

Candidates can expect a rewarding, varied workload and flexible shifts ranging from 9 to 12 hours, with options for full-time or part-time commitments. The CUC GP role includes a weekend commitment of one in six, alongside designated continuing professional development (CPD) time.
