The North East London Foundation Trust is seeking a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for their Older Adult Mental Health Team in Havering, Harold Wood. Candidates should be experienced Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and support the service’s development. The role involves managing a caseload of older adults with complex mental health needs, including frailty, functional illness, and dementia, while adhering to recovery-focused principles and best practices in care coordination.

The successful applicant will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide support not only to the service users but also to their families. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team is essential for delivering high-quality, risk-managed care. While the role follows a standard Monday to Friday schedule, there is flexibility, and all staff participate in a duty rota. A minimum of one year of post-registration clinical experience in mental health is required, along with initiative and effective time management skills.
