We are looking for a Care Support Worker to join our team to support our clients based in Ellesmere Port and Chester

You will be paid £12.00 per hour after training is completed (provided during recruitment)

Full Time, Days & Sleeping Nights

37.5 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime

You will be working across three different services, providing care and support to individuals with varying needs, mainly autism and learning disabilities.  Your role will be to work in accordance with the approved plans of care, adhering to all organisational policies and procedures and CQC regulations.  You will work on a rotational basis, providing flexibility to meet the needs of the clients. 

Support is needed with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, tidying, washing up, washing clothes etc.  Support to access community/social settings and attend medical appointment.  Support with finances and medication. Support with correspondence and documentation.  Support to engage in activities.  Support with shopping and personal hygiene. Support to maintain a nutritious and balanced diet.  Support to maintain positive physical and mental health and support to manage some behaviours that may challenge.

Full training will be given to set you on your path to being a Care Support Assistant, where you will be paid a competitive rate of pay after completion of training.  We offer you time to do the training before you start whilst we carry out our recruitment processes.

This job involves day shifts and sleeping night shifts with varying shift patterns across a rolling rota. This post attracts a competitive rate of pay (after completion of training).

Your responsibilities as our Care Support Assistant will include:    Assisting and supporting vulnerable clients to enable them to live the life they choose (where possible) to promote their independence.  Support with medication and some behaviours that may challenge is also required. You will be working across three different services, providing care and support to individuals with varying needs, mainly autism and learning disabilities.  You will work on a rotational basis, providing flexibility to meet the needs of the clients. 

Skills and Experience required of our Care Support Assistant: 

You are required to have good communication skills and have a desire to care for others.   Possessing a UK full driving license and having some previous experience would be advantageous.
