The HCC Navigator & Administrator at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust will play an integral role in delivering the Liver Health Checks and Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) Surveillance programme. This position focuses on facilitating a seamless patient journey by coordinating administrative processes for patients eligible for cancer surveillance after screening. The Navigator will act as a single point of access for patients, managing their care journey from referral through diagnosis and treatment while ensuring seamless communication with multidisciplinary teams and primary care providers. Key responsibilities include data management, patient tracking, and coordinating necessary assessments and appointments, all aimed at enhancing patient health outcomes and quality of care.

In addition to clinical support, the role involves essential administrative duties such as maintaining databases, supervising junior staff, auditing patient satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with Trust standards and data protection regulations. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to navigate the healthcare system, and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
