The Outpatient Network is seeking a compassionate and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) with experience in ENT surgery to support weekend clinics in Shrewsbury and Telford. The role involves providing patient care by assisting with personal care tasks, monitoring vital signs, preparing examination rooms and surgical areas, and supporting healthcare professionals during procedures. The HCA will also offer information and reassurance to patients, help maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with nurses and surgeons to ensure effective communication and a positive patient experience.

In this essential position, the Healthcare Assistant will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of care provided to patients undergoing ENT procedures. Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort and dignity, preparing and maintaining a sterile environment, and facilitating smooth patient flow within the healthcare team. This role is vital to delivering high-quality care and supporting patients through their surgical journeys.
