Leadership
To support the Lead Directorate Pharmacist HIV, Sexual and Gender Health in the development and delivery of pharmaceutical services to the HIV, Sexual and Gender Health directorate:
Identify and promote best practice
Motivate and inspire others (both within pharmacy and the directorate) in order to create and maintain a good working environment and facilitate staff retention
Demonstrate innovation within the specialty
Ensure that issues related to pharmaceutical care are appropriately represented within the HIV, Sexual and Gender Health directorate
Work collaboratively with senior pharmacy and medical staff, the multidisciplinary team, management and participate in the natural agenda for pharmacy services in accordance with the agreed objectives e.g. by being a member of the Directorate Drugs or Clinical Governance Subcommittees
Proactively develop the HIV, Sexual and Gender Health pharmacy service in response to the needs of the Directorate, in line with local and national objectives
Reconcile national priorities with local realities in terms of delivery of local services and within the constraints of the commissioned service
Deputise for the Lead Directorate Pharmacist HIV, Sexual And Gender Health at relevant external meetings in order to network and share knowledge with other HIV, Sexual and Gender Health specialists at a regional and national level
Ensure that prescribing issues in HIV, Sexual and Gender Health are managed within the development of Electronic Patient Records

1. To provide and develop clinical pharmacy services to meet the needs of the HIV, Sexual and Gender Health Directorate across a number of clinical sites; including at Chelsea & Westminster (CW), West Middlesex University Hospital (WMUH), 56 Dean Street (56DS) and 10 Hammersmith Broadway (10HB), Watford, Stevenage and Harlow HIV and sexual health clinics, in accordance with objectives set by the Lead Directorate Pharmacist - HIV, Sexual and Gender health, in conjunction with the other Highly Specialist Pharmacists. The post holder will be the lead pharmacist for Dean Street, West Middlesex and Sexual Health Services across the Trust
2. To lead by example in the specialisms of HIV and Sexual and Gender Health clinical pharmacy practice and ensure a consistently high quality clinical pharmacy service is delivered to the directorate in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
3. In particular, to lead on a combination of dedicated areas of the pharmacy service alongside the other highly specialist pharmacists for the Specialist Care Directorate
