About the Role
This exciting new national role will lead the development and delivery of Strategic Clinical Education Objectives, focusing on the Nursing, AHPs, and Medical Healthcare Workforce across Sue Ryder Services and external organizations on Death, Dying, and Bereavement.
Based in the Clinical Quality, Governance, and Education team, it reports to the Professional Education Lead to ensure consistent, accessible training.
Key responsibilities include developing, delivering, and evaluating education to meet quality standards, assessing clinical learning environments, and supporting local practice educators. The role also oversees workforce development projects, ensures compliance with NHSE agreements, and helps expand the Sue Ryder Education Academy to provide specialist training to external healthcare and commercial providers.
This role involves assessing the quality of clinical and other practice learning environments, to determine intervention to sustain and enhance practice education to deliver safe effective person-centred care which embeds Sue Ryder value and behaviour standards.
