The role of Band 3 Generic Worker with the South Rural Integrated Neighbourhood Team at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust involves supporting both the Therapy and Nursing teams, with a primary focus on the Therapy team. Based at Beacon House in Ipswich, this position requires the candidate to work across various locations, including Hadleigh, Bildeston, East Bergholt, Capel, Holbrook, and Shotley GP surgeries. The team will work collaboratively with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and district nurses, providing therapy interventions and following treatment and care plans tailored to the needs of housebound patients.

Candidates must be drivers with access to a car for community-based work and will receive regular supervision and support for skills development. The primary objective of the role is to assist patients in making healthy lifestyle choices and managing a range of conditions, from long-term neurological issues to end-of-life care, all aimed at preventing hospital admissions and facilitating early discharge.
