The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Clinical Coding Admin Assistant for The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The role involves 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start and finish times. Key responsibilities include collecting and returning case notes from the wards, managing the booking and dispatch of patient case notes, handling requests from other departments, and inputting outpatient procedure data into SemaHelix. Candidates should have strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a professional attitude. The position may require physical activity and manual handling.

The Clinical Coding Department at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, is looking to appoint 1 full time Clinical Coding Admin Assistants for The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The positions are full time, 37.5 hours per week and the working pattern is Monday - Friday. The start and finish times can be flexible within the needs of the department.
Due to the nature of the role, the job can be somewhat physical with a significant amount of manual handling involved.
Responsibilities include - the collection and return of case-notes to and from the wards; booking in and despatching of patient case-notes; dealing with requests from other departments; plus, some data inputting of outpatient procedure details onto SemaHelix
We require the post holder to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to be well organised and have a professional, positive attitude.
