We are currently seeking an experienced Bank Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP to join our busy Theatre at Oaks Hospital.
- Registered with the NMC/HCPC
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirements

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Bank Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP to join our busy Theatre.
Where you'll be based
Located conveniently on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened on this site in 1994, with plenty of free parking for patients. All of our Consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures, ensuring only those who are qualified and experienced are granted practising privileges which are reviewed on a regular basis. Our consultants are supported by a team of highly experienced and friendly nursing staff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority. You also have the reassurance that a Resident Doctor is available 24 hours a day.
Essential experience and qualifications for this role
- Registered with the NMC/HCPC
- Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Flexible and positive attitude
- A warm, considerate and empathetic character
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Ability to plan equipment and consumable requirement
